WS-545-CAT is set of a big and capacious GrillSymbol cataplana and an adapter. The pan is a hybrid of a cataplana and a wok pan. With a domed lid, it works just like a traditional cataplana. GrillSymbol cataplanas don’t come with a clamp on the lid, so the pan can be used for different purposes. Adapter makes also the wind protection higher. It can be installed on PRO-580 and PRO-580 inox models and a TW-580 gas cooker.
The deep, thick-bottomed (3 mm) steel pan with a light aluminium lid works like a cataplana, and like a wok without a lid. Thanks to its curved shape, it can be used to prepare a wide variety of foods, from Mediterranean to Japanese cuisine. The round shape allows the pan to be used as a deep fryer for churros, buñuelos, tempura, spring rolls, etc.
